The Zero SR/F goes over the Edge.

The Zero SR/F goes over the Edge.

The short version:

  •  E-Racer Motorcycles has developed the Edge, a cafe racer based on the Zero SR/F.
  •  The customization focuses on 3 main areas and is totally reversible.
  •  The Edge is lighter than the Zero SR/F, but no details were given about performance changes.

I’ve never much cared for the cafe racer look, but there are elements about this bike that I really like. First, I’m loving the silver and tan. It looks like a well-balanced merge between new tech and old class. Second, I’ll admit that the small headlights are starting to grow on me. I’m not fully converted yet, but I can see how the bring out a certain look. The third and biggest reason why I love this bike is that it’s built on the Zero platform. With the SR/F, Zero has finally built a bike that is substantial enough to have people making production mods for it. It’s a huge step forward for the company. Congrats Zero.
